Service
Solar Photovoltaics Consultancy
Independent advisory and project leadership for portfolio PV.
Solar PV consultancy from people who've delivered rollouts
We provide independent Solar PV consultancy for commercial property owners, occupiers and portfolio managers. Unlike most advisers, our team has actually delivered national rollout programmes — so feasibility studies, business cases and tender support are grounded in real operational delivery, not theory.
We sit firmly in the advisory and project-management layer. We do not install or supply, which keeps our advice impartial and aligned to your interests.
Who needs this?
Multi-site landlords, occupiers, public sector estates and developers exploring on-site generation, behind-the-meter savings, PPA structures or net-zero capex programmes.

Common questions
Do you install PV?
No. We sit in the independent advisory and project-management layer, which keeps our advice impartial and aligned to your interests.
Can you run a portfolio-wide PV programme?
Yes — we specialise in multi-site rollouts, including DNO planning, capex sequencing, contractor management and consolidated reporting across the estate.
Will you work with our existing M&E or EPC contractor?
Yes — we frequently sit alongside an existing supply chain as the client-side technical advisor representing your interests.
How do you assess feasibility on a site?
Roof condition, structural capacity, shading, orientation, demand profile, DNO headroom and lifecycle financial returns are all modelled before a site progresses to detailed design.
What's the difference between self-generation and a PPA?
Self-generation means you fund the system and keep all the savings. A PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) means a third party funds and owns the system; you buy the power at an agreed rate. We model both options for every business case.
How does landlord/tenant supply work under a lease?
Either via direct supply with a private wire arrangement, a sleeved PPA, or a green lease clause. We structure the right approach so both parties benefit and the lease remains workable.
Do you handle DNO grid connection applications?
Yes — we coordinate G99/G98 applications, manage DNO correspondence, model curtailment risk and explore export-limiting solutions where the grid is constrained.
What payback should we expect?
Most behind-the-meter commercial PV currently delivers 5–8 year simple payback, with IRRs of 12–20% depending on roof access, demand match and capex route.
Can you cover battery storage and EV charging?
Yes — battery storage, EV charging and load-shifting are modelled alongside PV where they improve the business case or support net-zero commitments.
How long does a full PV programme take?
Feasibility 4–8 weeks; business case and procurement 2–3 months; install per site typically 6–12 weeks. Portfolio rollouts run in parallel waves over 12–24 months.
