About
Independent specialists in commercial energy compliance.
We help building owners, occupiers and developers meet every UK energy regulation — and use compliance as a springboard to genuine carbon reduction.
15+ years' experience delivering multi-site property, compliance and energy projects across national estates.
Our story
Oak Tree Rule was founded by chartered surveyors and energy engineers tired of seeing compliance reports filed and forgotten. We deliver every TM44, EPC, ESOS and SBEM job to the standard our regulators demand — but we also leave clients with a practical roadmap they can actually use.
Our Managing Director brings rare client-side strategic experience, having previously led the construction function — heading up a team of building surveyors, engineers and facilities managers — with responsibility for capital projects, energy, compliance and sustainability across an 800+ site portfolio within a multi-billion-pound group. That means we've sat in your seat — owning the budgets, the board reporting, contractor frameworks and the regulatory risk — and we bring that operational perspective to every engagement.
Today we work across the UK with single-property owners, multi-site occupiers, property funds and main contractors.
